MINT College's Theater Arts Program Head Bernardo Bernardo passed away on
Thursday, March 8. He was 73 years old.
On February 27 at the MINT Café, MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary’s operations manager, Susan Magallanes Espinosa delivered a talk that addressed animal cruelty and welfare.
Last November 8, MINT College celebrated the exemplary performance of select students at Prevue 2018: The MINT Student Honor Show. The event is an annual awarding show and portfolio showcase attended by school officials and parents.
Philippines’ Primera Kontrabida, Cherie Gil guested at MINT College’s CineFiesta 2017 on November 22. The multi-awarded television, film, and theater actress shared stories about her life and career with veteran actor and MINT College’s Theater Arts program head, Bernardo Bernardo.
On November 26, MINT College’s production of Tayo Na Lang Kasi was announced as the MYX Choice for Best Music Video on ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show, ASAP. The win followed MINT’s successful production of O, Pag-big, which also won the same award in 2016.
MINT College instructor and former Theater program head, Dennis Marasigan grabbed two citations at the Gawad Buhay’s third quarter citations for 2017.
On November 20, MINT College’s Film students enjoyed the first day of CineFiesta with a talk from award-winning film director Erik Matti, and his editor, Jay Halili.
Rogin Losa’s Lovely is Off Air was recently announced as one of the Top Ten Finalists for the first-ever Viddsee Juree Awards for the Philippines, a filmmaker community initiative to celebrate and support filmmakers and film communities in Asia. The Singapore-based online video platform selected Losa’s film among entries from all over the country.
Meridian International (MINT) College, the first educational institution to offer the Music Business Management (MBM) program in the country, officially declared former Warner Music Philippines General Manager, Lachmi Baviera as the new head for the MBM program this November.

For this year’s #HimigHandog2017, Star Music has taken a radically different approach by fielding music video entries from colleges and universities across the nation. As the grand prize winner for the MYX Choice for Best Music Video 2016, MINT College was the only school chosen from Metro Manila.
