The Multimedia Arts (MMA) program trains students in effective Communications Design that harnesses a strong foundation in critical thinking through a range of traditional and electronic media application. The core of the program is an interdisciplinary problem solving mindset  that focuses the students’ ideation and creative talents toward practical applications.

MMA students acquire Communication Design theories and principles,   and a broad range of crafting skills using both traditional and digital tools.  They also learn how to manage projects, how to work with clients and how to collaborate in creative teams. Classes are project based and emphasize the students' conceptual process and final output – portfolio building begins freshman year.  Student work is critiqued and evaluated by faculty, student peers and creative professionals in order to provide an engaging learning environment and level of objectivity not commonly found in the local educational arena.

CHED ACCREDITATION: G.R. 076, Series of 2015

PROGRAM HEAD: Mony Romana

The program includes all the components of a standard business course, but specializes in elements of Brand and Marketing Communication including: Digital Marketing; Advertising; Activation & Event Planning; Content & Media Management; Public Relations & Reputation Management.

Many of the classes begin with general fundamentals but focus on applications in a contemporary marketing setting, characterized by a noisy media landscape and digitally connected consumers. Students are encouraged to not just develop plans and campaigns, but execute them and track their success.

Like most courses in MINT, the Marketing program emphasizes collaboration with the other business, arts and technology disciplines. Students graduate with a creative and strategic mindset; the ability to work in diverse teams; and an understanding of a fast-paced, technology driven, consumer landscape – the requirements of a modern marketing professional.

CHED ACCREDITATION: G.R. 075, Series of 2015

PROGRAM HEAD: Lord Fernandez

The program merges the entrepreneurial perspective, with creativity and innovation.  It mirrors MINT’s goal of blending business discipline; with technological innovation along with design and the applied arts to develop creative and practical solutions.

The cross disciplinary approach matches student entrepreneurs with those taking courses in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia, Film and Music.  This collaboration is the foundation for developing Digitally-Enabled businesses, and initiatives in the Content and New Media space.

The program embraces today’s changing business landscape, providing students with a nuanced understanding of the evolving consumer and new media audience. Even with this progressive mindset, the program is still grounded with a foundation of business fundamentals. This equips graduates with the skills needed to both launch innovative start-ups and guide existing organizations to change in new and creative ways.

Never has there been a better and more exciting time to be part of the music industry than now. Advances in the industry have not only changed the way that we consume our music, but the entire revenue model as a whole.

MINT College has responded to the fast-paced changes in the music industry by being the first and only higher level institution to offer the Music Business Management (MBM) program in the country. This program was previously only available to those who were fortunate enough to be able to travel overseas and attend a university that offered this specialized degree.

MBM students learn to develop their knowledge, skills and methodologies for todays music industry. The program, which has been developed by industry professionals, covers performance, sound engineering and production, events management, marketing and promotions, publishing and licensing, artistic and repertoire management, as well as the legal, financial and ethical challenges that face contemporary music executives.

MINT HOLIDAY JAM. MBM students Diego Redoblado, Jorik Katalbas, and band R.I.T. (Raiza Racelis, Izzy Mariano, Timo Valiente) reinvented classic Christmas carols into this playlist.

Students are also able to apply their knowledge and technical skills in our recording studio for in-class projects and professional productions.

Music professionals including vocalists, performers, recording studio owners and entertainment executives make up the faculty that mentor our students through a comprehensive approach towards learning about the music business. THE SCHOOL OF FASHION

Innovation, Individuality, Independence, Imagination—these are the four ‘I’s’ that serve as cornerstones of MINT College’s creative philosophy. With a strong emphasis on creative innovation and application, MINT College opens the School of Fashion, which will be highlighting the design and business aspects of the fashion industry. This makes the School of Fashion an ideal complement to MINT College’s line up of programs in business, technology, film, theater, music and multimedia arts.

The School of Fashion was established with the vision of promoting Filipino fashion and design. Therefore, MINT partnered with the Red Charity Gala, the Philippine’s largest fashion event that shares the same hope. Together, the two creative institutions will offer a full four-year scholarship program in conjunction with the launch of the School of Fashion and Red Charity Gala’s 10th Anniversary.

MINT School of Fashion had designers Lesley Mobo, Ino Sotto; Model-producer Jo Ann Bitangcol; and photographer Lope Navo, as their guest lecturers. MINT’s Fashion program also works with Red Charity Gala, led by Kaye Tinga and Tessa Prieto-Valdez for a full scholarship grant to the certificate program.

MINT College also enlisted the help of London-based Filipino fashion designer, Lesley Mobo. He earned his First-Class B.A. Honours Degree in Fashion and MA in Fashion from Central St. Martin’s, a prestigious fashion school in London. As a designer, he has worked with UNIQLO, Jasmine Di Milo, Diesel, and Absolut. Eventually, Mobo begun his own womenswear line, MOBO, which launched during the 2009 Paris Fashion Week, exhibited at Musée du Louvre, and featured on Italian Vogue. In 2012, he served as a finale judge on Project Runway Philippines Season 3. This year, he officially helms MINT College’s School of Fashion as its first-ever program head

With Lesley Mobo’s rich résumé in fashion design and the scholarship offering with Red Charity Gala, MINT’s School of Fashion is ready to take on its goal of promoting Filipino fashion design across the country.
