Our students are taught the conceptual and technical aspects of filmmaking, ready to become the next generation of successful, visual storytellers.

Kani Villaflor’s thesis project for MINT “Logro” was a short film entry to Cinemalaya 2018, and the Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival in the same year. It follows the story of Bruno, a person with dwarfism. Unsatisfied with his work, salary, and treatment, he joins an underground fight club to earn his way to the prize money and in the hopes of reaching his aspirations.

Villaflor shares that Logro came from his fascination with a bar in Makati that features little people who fight in the ring.
