Why is printing important? Is the first question asked by businessman and General Manager of DesignPlus, Mr. Maldwyn De Pano, to our Multimedia Art Students from both Junior year and Senior year, during the Design Plus/Norde x MINT Field Trip last March 18th of 2023.
Design Plus, a graphics solution provider of more than 20 impressive years and Norde, a leading graphics solution distributor, took our MMA students for a ride that is now surely inked in their memory. Father and daughter tandem, Mr. Maldwyn and Ms. Ayu De Pano enlightened our students with how the print and design industry was back then and the printing process at present.
It might be easy to forget about traditional printing in the digital age but that doesn’t make the process any less interesting and intriguing.
