Last October 1, MINT College officially inked a deal for a new campus at Silver City 1A, Ortigas Ave., Pasig City.
Lesley Mobo believes the time is ripe for fashion to explore new ideas, experiment and innovate. The school of his vision hopes to cultivate talents who will contribute to the growth of the fashion industry with its many facets, including fashion photography, marketing, journalism and new media.

Established fashion photographer, Lope Navo, shared a glimpse of New York and Brazil’s fashion landscape through his camera lens on his lecture at MINT School of Fashion with renowned fashion designer, Lesley Mobo, last August 29.
Dennis Marasigan, Theater Arts program head, is bound for Moscow, Russia to present his study in the Scientific Conference at the 12th World Congress of the International University Theater Association on August 20-24.
He is the Philippines’ representative along with the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and CCP’s resident acting company, Tanghalang Pilipino.
The World Congress of the International University Theater Association is a culminating activity for theater educators and theater youth from partner countries to discuss university theater developments and challenges. It holds debates, round-table discussions and presentations of experiences in the theater education.
He is to present his entry titled, “The Practice of Theater as Therapy in the Philippines,” being one of the chosen educators from the Congress’ participating countries in the said event.
MINT College is proud to have Marasigan, who is a decorated screenwriter, actor, director and producer for both theater and cinema, as both faculty and head of the Theater Arts program.

It is MINT College’s initiative to infuse social responsibility in these specific programs through select projects and activities involving a diverse makeup of students from the MINT community.
Tito Tony has experienced tangible successes in building homes and providing livelihood programs for millions of Filipinos. His partnerships with socially-minded local and international entrepreneurs provides a significant network that enhances his program at MINT. Thoughtful Media and MINT College recently partnered to offer specialized classes in Influencer marketing this June, 2018. Based in Burbank, California, Thoughtful Media operates in the Philippines through Thoughtful Media Philippines. The new partnership provides customized modules taught by MINT faculty and features Influencers from Thoughtful Media Philippines.
“Whether you are an internet personality looking to enhance your reach, or a budding startup looking for the opportunity to gain an audience online, this class opens the door to a whole new digital world that wants to hear from you,” mentioned Hendrik Kiamzon, EVP of MINT College. The pilot class is currently ongoing but will be offered again during the new school year 2018-2019 as an elective under the Marketing program. It is also open to students from other MINT programs interested to learn about Influencer marketing. The new school year starts this August 8, 2018.

MOBO found that the Meridian International Business, Arts and Technology College, on McKinley Hill, Taguig City, to be receptive of his idea of a four-year fashion program.
“Mint is already doing a great job with their other colleges that teach film, music and theater. The Mint fashion school is what we have created together. The purpose—the bigger picture, the mission—is to have something like a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund or the [British Fashion Council’s] NewGen initiative,” Mobo explained over an intimate dinner he hosted at Blackbird restaurant for his personal contacts in the local press, with each having a paper doll and stationeries of their likeness.
